  • [08B-12-5] Stored food not covered. Observed cooked chicken and cooked egg rolls stored uncovered in the walk in cooler.
  • [01B-01-4] Dented/rusted cans present. See stop sale. Observed 5 dented cans of soy sauce in dry storage. The operator segregated the cans for return.
  • [23-03-4] Nonfood-contact surface soiled with grease, food debris, dirt, slime or dust. Observed door gaskets for the reach in cooler with a black slime-like buildup.
  • [14-31-5] Nonfood-grade bags used in direct contact with food. Observed non-food grade plastic bags used to store rangoons in the reach in freezer behind the front counter.
  • [53B-01-5] No proof of required state approved employee training provided for any employees. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR contracted provider: Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (SafeStaff) 866-372-7233.
  • [10-06-5] In-use utensil not stored with handle above the top of time/temperature control for safety food and rim of the container. Observed the scoop handle used for cooked pork not stored above the food in the walk in cooler. The operator properly stored the scoop.
  • [03F-02-5] Time/temperature control for safety food identified in the written procedure as a food held using time as a public health control has no time. Observed cooked rice held under time as public health control with no time marking. The operator stated the rice has been held outside of refrigeration for approximately one hour. The operator placed a time on the rice.
  • [02C-08-5] Ready-to-eat, time/temperature control for safety food opened/prepared, frozen and then thawed and held at refrigeration temperature not properly date marked. Observed cooked pork prepared on site with no date mark when removed from the freezer for thawing in the walk in cooler. The operator stated the pork was placed in the walk in for thawing the day prior to inspection.
  • [14-13-4] Food-contact surface not smooth and easily cleanable. Observed a non-food grade drill with an attachment used to mix sauce. The body of the drill that may come in contact with food is not cleanable.
