  • [40-06-5] Employee personal items stored in or above a food preparation area, food, clean equipment and utensils, or single-service items. Employee personal phone on clean prep table opposite the two door reach in cooler. Operator relocated.
  • [53B-13-5] Proof of required state approved employee training not available for some employees. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR contracted provider: Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (SafeStaff) 866-372-7233. One food handling employee with no proof of food handler training employed since November.
  • [22-08-4] Interior of oven/microwave has accumulation of black substance/grease/food debris. Rust build up at backside bottom corners of cook line microwave.
  • [03A-02-5] Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. In the front flip top reach in cooler, corn salad with cut tomatoes (49F - Cold Holding); potato salad (47F - Cold Holding) stored in plastic portion cups inside metal containers blocking air flow. Employee restocked from interior of cooler prior to inspection. Discussed alternative storage options or utilizing existing time as public health control.
