  • [35A-02-7] Live, small flying insects found Observed one flying insect near dry food storage area.
  • [08B-38-4] Food stored on floor. Observed two containers of oil stored on floor in prep area.
  • [22-02-4] Food-contact surface soiled with food debris, mold-like substance or slime. Observed underside of shake machine at front service line and underside of mixer in prep area soiled. Employee started to clean mixer during this inspection.
  • [36-37-5] Ceiling not smooth, nonabsorbent and easily cleanable in food preparation, food storage, or warewashing areas. Observed multiple ceiling tiles in dry food storage area not smooth, nonabsorbent and easily cleanable.
  • [03A-02-5] Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed milk (49F - Cold Holding) in reach-in glass cooler at front service line. Observed two shelves above milk full causing no air flow throughout cooler. Operator rearranged cooler to provide better air flow and moved milk to top shelf near fan. Also, house made bread pudding (44F -Cold Holding)in front display case. Operator stated employee left door open on display case. Rechecked temp at end of inspection and bread pudding was 43F and milk at 46F.
  • [03B-01-6] Time/temperature control for safety food, other than whole meat roast, hot held at less than 135 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed cooked pork belly, beef empanadas (127F-129F - Hot Holding); in display food warmer at front counter. Operator stated employee left door open during lunch rush. Operator raised temp of food warmer. And placed pork belly and empanadas in oven to reheat to 165F. Retemped both foods at end of inspection at 165F-166F
  • [31A-11-4] Handwash sink used for purposes other than handwashing. Observed hand wash sink next to triple sink used to store a pan. Operator removed pan from hand wash sink.
