  • [24-05-4] Clean glasses, cups, bowls, plates, pots and pans not stored inverted or in a protected manner. Two ice buckets not inverted in dry storage area. Manager inverted both buckets during this inspection.
  • [02D-01-5] Working containers of food removed from original container not identified by common name. Container of sugar missing label at front counter.
  • [05-09-4] No conspicuously located ambient air temperature thermometer in holding unit. No ambient thermometer located in cheesecake cooler at front counter.
  • [11-26-1] No proof provided that food employees are informed of their responsibility to report to the person in charge information about their health and activities related to foodborne illnesses. One employee working at front counter handling food without proof they have been informed of their health reporting responsibilities. The employee read and signed a health reporting agreement during this inspection.
  • [41-10-4] Toxic substance/chemical improperly stored. 1. Spray bottle containing degreaser stored on shelf directly beside seasonings and sauces at cookline. Manager removed the bottle from the shelf during this inspection. 2. Hand soap refills stored on shelf directly above single-use drink cups at front counter. Manager moved the soap during this inspection.
  • [53B-05-5] Required employee training expired for all employees. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR contracted provider: Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (SafeStaff) 866-372-7233. No proof of food handler training available for any employees. All five Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association food handler training certificates provided by the owner expired between 02/24/2026 and 08/02/2026.
  • [36-50-4] Unclean building components, attachments or fixtures. 1. Floor along perimeter throughout kitchen soiled with food debris. 2. Insulation and/or dust hanging from ceiling tile in kitchen near cookline. 3. Floor inside walk-in cooler soiled with food debris.
  • [23-03-4] Nonfood-contact surface soiled with grease, food debris, dirt, slime or dust. Area around nozzles of fountain machine in lobby soiled with mold-like substance.
  • [06-09-2] Commercially processed reduced oxygen packaged fish bearing a label indicating that it is to remain frozen until time of use no longer frozen and not removed from reduced oxygen package. See stop sale. One pan containing packages of snapper thawed inside reduced oxygen packaging. The packages have been opened, but the fish is still inside the packages. The snapper is completely thawed. The package does have a label indicating the snapper must be removed from packaging prior to thawing. Stop sale issued.
  • [01B-13-4] Stop Sale issued due to food not being in a wholesome, sound condition. One pan containing packages of snapper thawed inside reduced oxygen packaging. The packages have been opened, but the fish is still inside the packages. The snapper is completely thawed. The package does have a label indicating the snapper must be removed from packaging prior to thawing.
