  • Disposition: Warning Issued
  • [14-31-5] Nonfood-grade bags used in direct contact with food. Grocery bag used to hold bread in reach in freezer.
  • [08A-05-6] Raw animal food stored over/not properly separated from ready-to-eat food. Raw chicken in 1/6 pan located in reach in cooler next to reach in freezer on top of bacon. Operator moved to bottom shelf.
  • [01A-05-4] Food/ice received from unapproved source/no invoice provided to verify source. See Stop Sale. Observed 4 buckets of water located in front of steam table. Operator stated that she acquired the water from home and uses it to clean floors and for her sanitizer buckets. Stop sale issued.
  • [31A-11-4] Handwash sink used for purposes other than handwashing. Handwashing sink was used to store dirty dishes. Employee moved items to dish sink.
  • [27-13-4] Drinking water not obtained from an approved source. Operator stated that the water in the food grade buckets was from her home and that she uses it to clean floors and use for towel sanitizer buckets. Educated operator to acquire water from commissary.
  • [50-04-4] Mobile food dispensing vehicle license number not permanently affixed on the side of the unit in figures at least 2 inches high and in contrasting colors from the background of the vehicle.
  • [24-05-4] Clean glasses, cups, bowls, plates, pots and pans not stored inverted or in a protected manner. Observed sheet pan in between back wall and reach in cooler. Operator inverted and moved on top of reach in freezer.
  • [53B-01-5] No proof of required state approved employee training provided for any employees. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR contracted provider: Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (SafeStaff) 866-372-7233. Two employees with no employee training. One manager certification and staff member was not present during inspection. Educated employee different options to acquire training.
