  • [03A-02-5] Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. In the cooler in the back preparation area, observed cut tomatoes (52F - Cold Holding); cooked sweet potatoes (47F - Cold Holding); cooked quinoa (46F - Cold Holding). Foods had a date of 7/28. Foods have not been used today for service. Determined the cooler is properly working all other foods were at or below 41F.
  • [11-26-1] No proof provided that food employees are informed of their responsibility to report to the person in charge information about their health and activities related to foodborne illnesses. Operator had employee begin reading and signing form.
  • [31A-11-4] Handwash sink used for purposes other than handwashing. Observed employees using hand sink in the back food prep area as a dump sink for dirty glasses. Discussed with operator hand sinks are only for hand washing to prevent and reduce cross contamination. Operator stated they will provide a tub for servers to dump liquids in.
  • [01B-13-4] Stop Sale issued due to food not being in a wholesome, sound condition. Food stored in ice used for drinks. See stop sale. Observed a water bottle inside an ice machine located in the back, ice machine is used for drinks. Discussed with operator ice for drinks should be protected as it is considered a food item. Operator stated they will dump ice out and clean machine.

  • [02D-03-4] Label on a food item prepared and packaged onsite for customer self-service does not include product identity/description, date product was packaged and name and address of the establishment that prepared and packaged the food. At the self service reach in cooler next to check out counter, observed containers of oatmeal, yogurt, cut fruit without the proper labeling.
