  • [14-01-5] Bowl or other container with no handle used to dispense food. Observed cups without handles being used for sugar, sesame seeds, etc. in dry storage.
  • [08B-38-4] Food stored on floor. Observed soy sauce buckets being stored on floor in walk in cooler. Observed raw chicken boxes being stored on floor in walk in freezer.
  • [10-07-4] In-use utensil stored in standing water less than 135 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed two scoops being held in standing water at 71F.
  • [33-16-4] Open dumpster lid. Observed dumpster lid open on shared dumpster.
  • [22-48-5] Establishment using a sanitizer solution that does not meet the requirements specified in 40 CFR 180. Only use single-service items to serve food to customers until approved sanitizer is available for warewashing. Observed non food grade bleach for sanitation. Manager sent employee to Publix to get food grade bleach.
  • [08B-56-4] Food stored in ice used for drinks. See stop sale. Observed cup of lemons in soda machine ice bin. Manager melted ice in ice bin, also removed lemons.
  • [08A-05-6] Raw animal food stored over/not properly separated from ready-to-eat food. Observed raw meat being stored over soy sauce buckets in walk in cooler.
  • [01B-03-5] Stop Sale issued due to adulteration of food product. Observed cup of lemons in soda machine ice bin. Manager melted ice in ice bin, manager removed lemons.
  • [16-37-1] No chemical test kit provided when using sanitizer at three-compartment sink/warewashing machine or wiping cloths.
  • [11-26-1] No proof provided that food employees are informed of their responsibility to report to the person in charge information about their health and activities related to foodborne illnesses. Provided form to operator, operator had employees sign.
  • [53B-13-5] Proof of required state approved employee training not available for some employees. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR contracted provider: Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (SafeStaff) 866-372-7233.
